My Background
Born and raised in Michigan, I am a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. For my undergraduate studies, I attended both Michigan State University and Wayne State. I obtained my law degree from the Detroit College of Law from which I graduated magna cum laude.

I have established a well-earned reputation in my community and have been recognized as a legal expert by various media outlets such as Channels 2, 4 and 7, The Detroit News and Detroit Free Press.
Many will also remember me for my work as part of Detroit’s then-mayor Kwame Kilpatrick’s corruption trial in 2013. As co-counsel for Bobby Ferguson, there was a media clip that infiltrated the internet. To some, this demonstrated my aggressive nature when it comes to fighting for my clients.
I have also been interviewed on the CNBC T.V. show American Greed regarding Kilpatrick, as well by Meredith Vieira for an “American Gangsters” episode featuring a Russian mobster.
